Shawn Williams, 39, of Chester, is facing homicide charges in the murder of Sameer Abdullah, Ridley Township police said Tuesday.

Abdullah, an employee of Empire Smoke Shop & Phones, located at 1418 Chester Pike in Crum Lynne, was shot and killed inside the store Friday morning, police said.

He was shot multiple times with a revolver in the upper body at close range, according to police.
